Marie plays the lead role "Lea" in the feature film "Vexier" (2024) and is currently featured as a co-star in Malonda's new music video. Additionally, she is a member of the dance ensemble in the film "Climacteria" (DFFB). In 2021, she was part of the cast of the ARD series "Eldorado KaDeWe" (Constantin Film), directed by Julia von Heinz, and also contributed as a singer to the series' soundtrack.

Starting at the age of six, Marie joined the Dance Theater Jena, remaining a dedicated ensemble member until her move to Berlin at eighteen. Regular dance theater training, three to five times a week, shaped Marie's career in the performing arts, leading to her participation in various stage shows, musicals, events, and cultural programs.

While pursuing her acting studies in Berlin, Marie attended workshops at ActorSpace and began filming for various film, commercial, and TV productions in 2010. Since 2020, Marie has held the Artistic Direction of the Dance Theater DisTanz.

In an interview, Marie reflected on her time at the Dance Theater Jena, emphasizing the challenges and value of intensive rehearsals. She expressed gratitude to her strict Artistic Director, Manuela Schwarz (Palucca Hochschule für Tanz). 

When she was asked about the difference between dance theater and theater, Marie explained that the fundamental agreement is the same: embodying a character or immersing oneself in a non-private state for the performance. Whether the character uses language or the body is unimportant to her. Personally, Marie finds danced scenes often more expressively, as she senses more passion compared to dialogue conversations about the same themes in theater or film.
